What's the real difference between Regimen, Ritual and Circle memberships?

Treatment progression and flexibility. Regimen is foundational facials with a few benefits, ideal for establishing consistency. Ritual adds advanced core treatments with a yearly guest pass, for clients ready to accelerate results. Circle is  premiums treatments with annal complimentary upgrades, priority booking, and two guest passes yearly, for clients who want full JBS access. Each tier is designed for different commitment levels; all three deliver genuine barrier restoration when combined with consistent homecare.

What's the Circle complimentary upgrade benefit? How does it work?

Accepted Answer

Circle members get one free upgrade per calendar year. They may choose from: The Deep Reveal, Infusion Reveal or Diamond Reveal. You don’t need to bank an appointment to use this benefit; it’s separate. Book your complimentary upgrade anytime during the calendar year. If you want an additional facialbeyond your one free upgrade, you can schedule it, bank it and pay the upgrade balance due.

Can I change my tier or cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upgrade to a higher tier at any time; the new rate takes effect your next billing cycle. To downgrade or cancel, submit 30-day written notice before your next payment date. No refunds for time already paid. No prorating. If you think you need to pause instead, we can set that up too, up to a 3 month pause with no fees.

Why is there a balance due on a service upgrade?

Accepted Answer

If you upgraded your membership level facial to a higher tier facial, you will likely have a balance due at the time of your appointment.  It is calculated like this: A client with a Regimen membership switches up their appointment and wants a Diamond Hydrofacial.  They schedule the Diamond Hydrofacial and have the facial. When they check-out of their appointment, the calculation will be Diamond Hydrofacial price less the Regimen membership monthly cost = balance due, plus any applicable taxes.

What happens if I don’t use my monthly facial?

Accepted Answer

Unused monthly facials expire at the end of your billing cycle and do not roll over. You lose that month’s value unless you banked the appointment in advance. We recommend booking your facial as soon as possible after your billing date to secure availability and protect your membership value.

Question 6

How do banked appointments work?

Accepted Answer

You can bank one monthly appointment at a time.. Regimen and Ritual members have 60 days to use it; Circle members have the full calendar year. You can only hold one banked appointment at a time, and if you upgrade to a pricier treatment, you’ll pay the balance at time of service. Banked appointments do not roll over into the next quarter or year.

How do guest passes work? Can I gift it to a friend?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Guest passes are designed for you to share barrier-first skincare with friends, family, or colleagues who are new to professional skincare. A guest is someone who’s never visited JBS or hasn’t been an active client in 12+ months. Guest may select from foundational facials (JBS Signature, Clarifying, DermaPlan Glow Polish, PreNatal). Guest assumes all liability for attending. Passes expire at the end of the year they’re issued, so plan accordingly. The pass is valid for one (1) appointment only.

What if my payment fails?

Accepted Answer

We’ll notify you and give you seven days to resolve it. If it’s not fixed by then, your membership benefits are suspended (though your scheduled appointments stay on the books and all terms and conditions apply to the appointment). Fix the payment and we’ll reinstate you.  If you don't fix the payment and you still come for your appointment, the balance will be due at the time of service.

Do I get a refund if I cancel mid-cycle?

Accepted Answer

No. Membership fees are nonrefundable once a billing cycle starts. Your benefits continue through the last day of the cycle you’ve paid for. That’s why giving 30 days’ notice matters, you can end cleanly without waste.

Can I share my membership with someone else?

Accepted Answer

No. Memberships are personal to you only. Guest passes are the way to invite someone to experience JBS.

Do guest passes apply to Share the Glow referral awards?

Accepted Answer

No. Guest passes do not earn referral perks or rewards.

Can I skip a month or pause my membership?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can pause your membership for up to 3 consecutive months with no fees. Submit a written request 15 days before your next payment date. After pause ends, your membership resumes at the regular rate. Skipping a single month forfeits that month’s membership benefits, regardless of payment status (facial, discounts). unless you’ve already banked your appointment from the previous paid billing cycle. You many not bank any months once the pause begins.  You may not use a banked month during the pause for any facial outside your membership tier.

What if I want to upgrade my monthly facial but don't want to bank an appointment?

Accepted Answer

You can upgrade any monthly facial anytime, with or without banking. Simply book your upgraded treatment and pay the balance difference at time of service. This is different from banking, banking is for saving your monthly credit for future use. Upgrading is for changing this month’s treatment to something premium.  Balance differences are due at the time of service. Note that to upgrade an appointment you must book or change it at least 24 hours in advance of the appointment date.

I want to upgrade a facial, will a balance be due?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you upgrade your facial from those included in your membership tier, a balance will be due at the time of service. Example: Regimen member gets a Diamond Hdrofacial which is a tier above.  The calculation is: Diamond Hydrofacial price - Regimen member price = balance due.

Is homecare included in membership, or do I buy that separately?

Accepted Answer

Homecare is not included in membership fees, but your retail discount (10–20%) applies to all skincare products you purchase. Homecare is curated by JBS estheticians and the JBS Method protocols based on your barrier assessment and are recommended during your facials. Consistent homecare is essential to barrier restoration, it’s where the real work happens between treatments. Your membership discount makes that commitment affordable. Can guest passes be canceled?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Guest passes, once given to a guest can be forfeitted and canceled permanently for one of two reasons. 1) The guest booked a service on a guest pass and cancelled two consecutive appointments or 2) the guest booked a service and was a no-show.  Also important to note that no-shows are subject to a non-refundable $50 fee.

I want to use my guest pass, what do I do?

To use your guest pass, gifted to you by a Ritual or Circle tier member, you just need to book your appointment which you can do here.  During booking you will be prompted to fill out your information and put a credit card on file to secure your booking.  The credit card will only be charged if you do not follow our cancellation policy. No shows are automatically charged $50. Late cancellations are also subject to the fee.  Note that if you cancel your appointment two consecuitve times or are a no-show on the date of your appointment, you forfeit the guest pass and it cannot be reinstated.

What are the difference in product discounts for the different membership tiers?

Each membership has a different product discount. Regimen gets 10% off, Ritual gets 15%  and Circle gets 20% off products on Jillian Blair Skin retail and in-studio products.  Circle members have the added bonus of being able to stack discounts on products that are on sale (typically around the holidays). Regimen and Ritual members do not get this bonus.
